About the Director:
Photographer and filmmaker Andrew Kornylak grew up in Southern Ohio. He was the only one who stayed awake for Dad's slideshows. Andrew took up both photography and rock climbing in college, and his work has since been informed by the drama of landscape and the character of people who linger on its fringes.
Andrew's 25 year career includes work for National Geographic Adventure, Climbing, ESPN, GEO, Apple, Discovery Channel, Red Bull, Outside, and Garden & Gun. His Director credits include Stay Here Awhile (2022), Inner Mounting Flame (2021), Who Owns Water (2014), and A Fine Line (2011)
